Survey Objectives

The Post-Employment Survey is designed to accomplish three primary objectives:

Description of Process for Survey and Driver Rehire System

Each week the carrier provides Impact with a list of drivers who have voluntarily tendered their resignation.

The information on the list should include:

An Impact representative will enter the driver’s information into our database and begin the survey process. Each driver will be contacted via telephone and interviewed about his or her current employment status, and his or her experience while driving for your company. The interview will take place approximately 30 days following the date of the driver’s resignation. Drivers, who cannot be reached by phone, will be mailed a copy of the survey with instructions to contact Impact. Three phone attempts will be made prior to the mailing.

Impact will send a driver rehire mailing list to your Recruiting Department on a weekly basis. The list will contain the names and addresses of the drivers you voted “yes” to rehire. We will put a drivers name on the list 45 days and six months from the date they quit and every eligible driver’s name will be on the list supplied on Dec. 1. We can supply this list as an Excel spreadsheet or in a Word document already merged into the letter so all you have to do is open the e-mail attachment and print the documents.

Description of Survey Analysis

Based on the responses given by your former drivers, Impact will provide you with a monthly analysis, in graph format, showing the reasons your drivers are leaving and illustrating the peaks and trends of your driver turnover. As more data is collected, you will receive both current and year-to-date reports.

You will be notified immediately when a driver indicates an interest in being rehired.

Benefits of Survey

Impact has found that the information obtained during the driver’s exit interview with the company, does not reflect the real cause of driver turnover. The Post Employment Survey does. This allows you to address the proper issues affecting driver retention.

As a result of Impact’s survey efforts you will also see an increase in the number of rehires. In effect, you will be receiving the benefit of another recruiter/recruiting source, with Impact initiating the rehire process!

Cost of Survey

Pricing is based on a per-driver fee of $27.50 for each name submitted for inclusion in the survey. Impact will invoice you a total dollar amount each month based on the number of drivers submitted.
